This dive site features two distinct diving towers in Enkhuizen, Netherlands, designed specifically for dive training and practice. One tower reaches a depth of 3.5 meters, while another descends to 9 meters, both boasting a uniform diameter of 6 meters. The artificial nature of the site means it primarily serves as a controlled environment for divers to practice skills, including possibly inspecting welds, rather than exploring natural topography.
Due to its artificial and enclosed nature, there is no marine life present within the diving towers. Divers will not encounter any fish, corals, or other aquatic animals or plants during their dives.
With crystal clear water and a comfortable water temperature of 21 degrees Celsius, this site is excellent for training year-round, especially in warmer months for maximum comfort. It is highly suitable for beginner divers to gain confidence and for experienced divers to refine technical skills. Both freedivers and snorkelers will find the clear, shallow water appealing for practice and observation of the structures.
