This dive site, Meyyafushi Beyru, is a highly regarded destination found after a 50-minute boat ride northeast from its departure point. Meyyafushi Beyru is renowned for its abundant marine life. Mantas are seasonal visitors to the cleaning stations, providing spectacular encounters. Throughout the year, divers can expect to see various species of stingrays and eagle rays gliding through the water, alongside schools of tuna. Nurse sharks are commonly observed, and curious batfish often approach divers. The reef is also home to numerous turtles.
The best time to visit for manta ray encounters is during their specific season, though the reef offers excellent diving all year round for other marine spectacles.
