This dive site is situated directly on the shore of Lake Senftenberg, offering easy access via a staircase and a jetty. It is meticulously set up with platforms, a buoyancy garden, and various discovery elements, making it an excellent location for training and recreational exploration of artificial underwater landscapes. Unloading equipment is convenient right at the site, with parking approximately 150m away.
Due to the lake's current acidic conditions, there are no fish or significant natural marine animal life to observe at this dive site. Divers should not expect to encounter any aquatic fauna.
The best time to visit this dive site would generally be during warmer months to mitigate cold water exposure, though year-round diving is possible with appropriate dry suit gear. It is particularly well-suited for divers practicing buoyancy, navigation, and other fundamental skills. Freedivers can also enjoy the shallow depths and underwater structures for breath-hold training.
