About this dive site

This dive site, Plage du Lotu, is celebrated as one of Corsica's most beautiful beaches, known for its pristine white sand and exceptionally clear waters. With a maximum depth of 4 meters and an average of 2 meters, it offers a gentle and easily navigable underwater experience. There is no complex history or specific navigation route; divers can simply explore the sandy bottom and scattered rock formations close to shore, enjoying the completely wild and enchanting setting.

The translucid waters teem with vibrant marine life, including common seabream, colorful wrasse, and cardinalfish. Lucky divers and snorkelers might also spot a stingray gracefully gliding over the sand, a shy moray eel peeking from its hideout, or an octopus cleverly camouflaged among the rocks.

Plage du Lotu is suitable for diving and snorkeling year-round, with the best conditions typically during the warmer, calmer months when visibility is at its peak. Its shallow depths make it an ideal spot for beginner divers to gain confidence and an excellent location for freedivers to practice their skills in a picturesque, easily accessible environment. Photographers will appreciate the excellent visibility and macro opportunities.
