This dive site, located in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, is renowned for its dramatic underwater topography. It features a significant U-shaped vertical wall formation that offers an exciting drift diving experience. Divers typically navigate southerly towards Naama Bay as part of this dive. The dive begins with a descent onto the wall and a swim toward the U-shaped cutting. Just before this opening, a prominent pinnacle rises from the seabed – this ‘tower’ is what gives the site its name. Exploring the vertical canyon provides opportunities to appreciate the natural light. The route then continues along a gently sloping reef slope, potentially culminating at the plateau of Sodfa, which displays delicate fan corals. This dive can be enjoyed as either a drift or shore dive.
