This dive site, known as Shark Observatory, is an exciting underwater adventure suitable for experienced divers. Access is possible via boat or a swim through a reef hole from the shore, making it a unique entry point. The dive features a stunning wall teeming with soft corals, numerous shelters, and small caves providing ample exploration opportunities. Navigating the sometimes tricky currents requires confidence and experience.
The wall is a vibrant ecosystem, home to a wealth of marine life. Scorpionfish blend seamlessly into the coral, while nudibranchs and shrimps offer amazing macro photography opportunities. The diverse habitat also attracts larger species, making sightings of larger fish and other creatures a possibility.
The best time to visit Shark Observatory is likely during the warmer months (April-October) when visibility is generally better, and the water temperature is more comfortable. Divers should be prepared for variable currents and maintain buoyancy control. Because of the depth and potential currents, this site is not suitable for snorkeling or freediving.
