This dive site offers a unique experience along the East Coast, combining a working fishing wharf with diverse marine life. Adopted by East Coast Scuba & Watersports for Project Aware Monthly clean-ups, it's a fascinating location to explore year-round. The site features two access points: a jetty on the right side of the wharf (with potential boulder obstacles) and an easy beach entry that transitions into silt. Divers can expect depths ranging from 1.5 meters to over 24.8 meters, with visibility varying depending on weather conditions – typically between 9 and 12 meters. Common sightings include lobsters during warmer months, various fish species native to Nova Scotia, and the occasional marine creature found within the wharf's ecosystem. Be aware of boat traffic, potential nets, mooring lines, and traps. The area might have a mild current. Remember to be mindful of other divers and fishermen present.
