This dive site is the wreck of the Guadiana, a coffee-carrying ship that sank in 1885 in the Abrolhos Archipelago after colliding with a rock during low visibility. The wreck lies at a maximum depth of 23 meters, now partially dismantled but with identifiable features such as machinery and the rudder. It sits near coral pinnacles, creating a fascinating underwater landscape. Divers will need to navigate around the scattered remains of the ship, careful of any sharp edges or debris, while exploring its diverse environment.
