Reaching this spot requires both a 4-wheel drive vehicle and a National Park pass for entry into the park.
The primary attraction is a breakaway reef teeming with vibrant marine life. Here, you'll encounter a stunning display of colorful seaweed and beautiful sponges, along with a diverse array of fish species. Keep an eye out for small tropical fish, rays, blue groper, herring, skippy, zebrafish, harlequin cod, and blue devils, which are often found in the deep crevices that line the sandy bottom. For the more adventurous, a second reef known as the outer reef lies about 200 meters seaward, offering another area to explore.
For the best experience, it is recommended to dive or snorkel at low tide and when there is minimal wind or current. The outer reef provides some protection from southerly winds, making it a viable option even on slightly windier days. Access to the water is available directly opposite the reef.
