This dive site, Mudjimba Island Reef SW, is situated off the coast of Queensland, Australia, on the southwestern side of Mudjimba Island. The island's name, "Mudjimba," translates to "Old Woman" from its aboriginal origin, stemming from an indigenous dream time story. The site features a shallow wall that descends from a reef top at approximately 3 to 6 meters down to an average depth of 6 meters, with a maximum depth of 12 meters, making it an accessible and enjoyable location for various skill levels.
