This dive site is located in St Abbs, offering a shore diving experience. The area features numerous rocky outcrops rising from the seabed, ranging in depth from 3 to 18 meters. Exploration dives have revealed interesting formations like a small cavern within one of the outcrops and an archway that provides habitat for Wrasse. The seabed itself is gritty rather than sandy. Visibility is consistently excellent, often exceeding 10 meters. Because surface conditions are affected by wind and weather, this site is best suited for slack high tides when conditions are favorable.
Particular attention should be paid to the rocky outcrops on the far left of the pier at the car park area, as well as the back of the harbour wall – these areas offer the most rewarding dives.
