This dive site, also known as Russian Beach, offers a shallow, easily accessible shore entry perfect for training dives or a relaxed exploration. The dive begins in shallow water and proceeds towards a small reef located to the right of the breakwater. The navigation is straightforward, with the reef providing a clear landmark. There is no particular history or story associated with this particular location.
The marine life here is diverse, albeit not exceptionally abundant. You can expect to see various schooling fish inhabiting the reef, along with interesting critters like mantis shrimp amongst the rock boulders. Beyond the reef, seagrass beds provide habitat for turtles and stingrays, offering opportunities for exciting encounters.
The best time to visit is during the cooler months, from October to May, when the water is clearest and calmer. Water visibility is generally good and the mild currents make it suitable for beginners and freediving. Remember to respect the marine environment and avoid disturbing the wildlife.
