This dive site is located at Koh Bon, a small, uninhabited rock island situated north of the Similan Islands in the Andaman Sea. The island is composed primarily of lava rock and features a fringed reef that surrounds its beachless form. A dramatic steep wall descends to a depth of 35 meters. Divers often report encountering manta rays gracefully gliding through the water, resembling "planes" as they emerge from the deep blue depths before passing by the diver. Reef sharks, including leopard sharks, are also commonly spotted in this area, adding to the diverse marine life present. A dive at Koh Bon offers a unique and memorable experience for those seeking encounters with manta rays and other fascinating creatures of the reef.
