This dive site is a shallow, picturesque sandy lagoon located off the southern tip of Lobos Island. Divers start at 4-5 meters and can explore down to a maximum of 10 meters. The unique topography consists of bright white sand contrasting sharply with dark volcanic rock formations, creating interesting light effects and an appealing underwater landscape. Navigation within this confined lagoon is straightforward, making it an ideal spot for relaxed exploration.
The site teems with shoals of mullets, saddled seabreams, and dreamfish swimming in the open water. On the white sandy bottom, divers can spot camouflaged flounders, while the rocky crevices and structures provide excellent hiding spots for octopuses and various species of moray eels, offering superb opportunities for macro and small animal encounters.
