This dive site is one of the most famous in southern Tenerife. It features a platform surrounded by a sandy seabed, home to thousands of garden eels. A cave offers stunning views from the outside, showcasing up to four different species of moray eels: the wobbegong, black moray, mottled moray, and scorpion moray. A cross marks the entrance to the cave; access is recommended only for those with appropriate experience and qualifications due to the nature of this adventure. Directly facing the cave is La Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of those who live from the sea. At the back lies a sphinx-shaped rock, adorned with a plaque and a dolphin statue honoring Jacques Cousteau. The area teems with life, including sharks, groupers, angelfish, trumpetfish, and the dominant species – the magnificent moray eels.
