This dive site, known as The Chimney, offers a unique underwater experience. It’s located within a volcanic reef system featuring impressive canyon formations and lava bridges. Access is gained through a vertical chimney – a hole approximately 4 meters in diameter – at a depth of 18 meters. This entrance leads downwards into a valley, reaching an exit point at 33 meters. Descending through this ‘chimney’ feels like entering a fireplace, leading to a vibrant underwater environment. The reef boasts a remarkable carpet of red Gorgonia (soft corals). Following the drop-off, divers can explore a vast canyon with three substantial lava bridges. Expect to encounter fascinating geological features and stunning coral formations.
