About this dive site

This dive site is a captivating submerged canyon located off Cala Galdana, facing south. The canyon floor features numerous cavities that serve as refuges for a variety of sea creatures. A mysterious anchor, often guarded by large scorpion fish, adds an intriguing element to the landscape. While the canyon's deepest point near the coast reaches 35 meters, the dive typically explores depths up to 30 meters, offering varied topography and interesting navigation.

The abundant marine life includes significant populations of groupers, barracudas, scorpion fish, corvine, snappers, and octopuses. During the low season, divers may also be fortunate enough to encounter rays populating its depths, adding to the site's rich biodiversity.

The best time to visit for a chance to see rays is during the low season. This site is ideal for intermediate divers who can appreciate its unique canyon structure, explore the many cavities, and observe the diverse marine species. Freedivers will also find the average depth of 15 meters and maximum depth of 30 meters suitable for breath-hold diving, offering ample exploration opportunities.
