This dive site is a circular route on a small stone slab forming a natural reef. It's easily accessible and perfect for divers of all levels. The reef has a small wall with recesses at the base offering diverse exploration.
The abundant marine life includes gorgonians, gobies, octopuses, conger eels, sponges, anemones, and moray eels often hidden in cracks under the slab. A variety of fish species also inhabit the reef, adding to the underwater biodiversity.
The best time to visit Sardinha is likely during the warmer months (May-October) when visibility is generally best and water temperatures are more comfortable. While the site is suitable for freediving due to its shallow depth and mild currents, divers should maintain awareness of their surroundings and dive within their limits. It's advisable to check weather conditions and currents before diving.
