This dive site is situated on the south-eastern shore of Lake Świętajno, near the village of Brajniki in Poland, offering very convenient shore access directly by car. With a maximum depth of 11 meters and an average of 5 meters, it serves as an excellent location for dive training, notably featuring a dedicated platform at approximately 6 meters for various exercises. There is no significant historical background or complex navigation described for this site, making it straightforward to explore.
The aquatic life in Lake Świętajno includes common freshwater species such as pike, perch, burbot, eel, roach, bream, carp, rudd, and tench. The littoral zone is characterized by moderately developed submerged vegetation, providing a natural habitat and feeding grounds for these fish and potentially supporting smaller macro organisms.
The dive site is particularly recommended during warmer seasons for more comfortable diving, though it is accessible year-round with appropriate cold-water gear. Its calm, shallow waters and the training platform make it perfectly suited for beginner divers, open water courses, and skill refinement.
