Located offshore at Cervera Shoal, it is a small hill submerged about 18 meters underwater, resembling an isolated coral platform in the sea. Despite its name, 'Snake Island' is not a true island but a dive site famous for its abundance of sea snakes. The entire area is covered with sea snakes, serving as their breeding ground. Although highly venomous (10 times more toxic than black mamba), they are shy and do not attack unless provoked. Sea snakes frequently traverse the reef, coexisting with sea slugs, stonefish, moray eels, and pufferfish. At the outer edges of the reef, encounters with Jackfish Tornadoes are possible. The area has a high concentration of sea urchins, requiring careful descent control and buoyancy adjustment.
