This dive site is the house reef directly in front of Pier Uno Dive Resort, offering convenient access for divers and snorkelers. It begins with a sandy bottom, transitioning into areas of corals and rocks as you explore northeast. A notable feature further along in the northeast direction is a sunken jeepney, accompanied by an old guardhouse, adding an interesting element to the underwater landscape and serving as a focal point for navigation and exploration.
The marine life here is abundant, particularly for those with an interest in smaller creatures. Divers can expect to find many species of nudibranchs and various small fish, making it an excellent spot for macro photography. In addition to these tiny marvels, the site is also home to squid, schools of batfish, and redtoothed triggerfish, providing a diverse range of subjects for observation.
The best time to visit this dive site, like much of the Philippines, is during the dry season, typically from November to May, when water conditions are generally calm and clear. This site is particularly recommended for macro photographers due to its rich small stuff. Freedivers and divers will enjoy exploring the shallow reef areas and the unique sunken jeepney and guardhouse, which offer interesting structures and hideouts for marine life.
