This dive site, Kleine Stelle, is named after the adjacent campsite and is easily accessible directly across from a parking lot. Divers enter over a shallow sandbank, which can be as little as one meter deep at low tide. Approximately 100 meters out, the bottom transitions into a beautifully overgrown stone wall that extends to depths of 25 meters, providing a clear navigational feature. There's no specific historical narrative provided, but its name suggests a local, well-known spot.
The sandy bottom before the wall is home to various small flatfish and offers occasional sightings of sepiola (small cuttlefish). The vegetated stone wall and its surrounding slopes create a rich shelter for a diverse array of smaller marine life, including numerous species of shrimps, snails, and other invertebrates, contributing to a vibrant macro environment.
Diving at high tide is strongly advised to ensure sufficient depth over the initial sandbank and to make the most of the site's deeper sections. This site is suitable for both scuba divers and freedivers, with good opportunities for macro photography due to the abundant small critters. Snorkelers can also enjoy the shallower areas, particularly during high tide when water levels are more favorable.
