This dive site presents a compelling opportunity for experienced divers. The wreck is a WWII-era US Navy gunship, scuttled in October of 2000 and now extensively covered with coral growth. It offers a deep/multilevel dive reaching a maximum depth of 90 feet (27.4 meters). Expect to encounter a variety of marine life including stingrays, eels, barracuda, and spotted eagle rays when the season is right – these magnificent rays are often seen flying over the wreck. The area also supports schools of bait fish, attracting their predators. A decent line assists with navigation. Visibility may vary, but the overall experience promises to be memorable.
