About this dive site

This dive site is Ilet à Ramiers, a small, uninhabited rocky island situated at the southern entrance of Fort-de-France bay in Martinique. Known for being wild and uncrowded due to its less accessible nature, it offers a tranquil underwater experience. Navigation is straightforward, exploring the reef bordering the islet.

Although the reef is in relatively poor condition, snorkelers and divers can still observe a great diversity of Caribbean fish. Expect to see various small reef fish common to the region, adding vibrancy to the shallow waters, alongside some hard and soft corals.

This site is ideal for beginners and snorkelers seeking an uncrowded spot away from popular tourist areas. The shallow depth of 4 meters makes it perfect for extended bottom times for divers and easy exploration for freedivers. It's best visited when conditions are calm, offering clear visibility for observing marine life in its natural, untamed setting.
