This dive site is the National Aquatic Centre located in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It functions as a controlled indoor environment primarily for scuba diving training and recreation. Featuring an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a dedicated diving pool with a tower, it offers consistent warm, clear water conditions ideal for learning and practicing dive skills without natural environmental variables. There is no natural underwater navigation; divers operate within the confines of the pool structure.
As an artificial indoor facility, the National Aquatic Centre does not host natural marine animals or plants. Divers will encounter only the pool infrastructure and any training props or simulated elements that may be present for educational purposes.
The National Aquatic Centre is suitable for diving year-round due to its indoor, climate-controlled environment, making any time a good time to visit. It is highly recommended for beginner divers to gain foundational skills and for certified divers to refresh or practice specific techniques. Freedivers will also find it excellent for breath-hold training in a safe, predictable setting.
