This dive site, known as Cappadocia, is located on an outer reef near "Miruchibishi" in Japan. It is famed for its unique coral formations that strikingly resemble the terrestrial world heritage site of Cappadocia in Turkey, offering a distinct underwater landscape. The depth ranges from 10 meters at its shallowest point to a maximum of 20 meters, with an average depth around 10 meters.
The site boasts a rich variety of marine life. Divers can expect to encounter Green turtles, the striking Banded Sea Snake, and the elusive Whitetip Reef Shark. Beyond these larger species, the reef teems with diverse fish species and invertebrates. From March to May, the site becomes a crucial breeding ground for Cuttlefish, offering a unique opportunity to observe them mating and laying eggs.
