This dive site, known as Secca della Colombara, is a lively shoal located in open sea. It’s ideal for divers of varying experience levels, ranging from beginner to Advanced Open Water Divers. The area offers a unique diving experience centered around impressive amberjacks that create stunning visual displays as they pass through clouds of barracuda. A fascinating wreck rests on the seabed, providing an additional exploration opportunity. The dive typically lasts between 50 and 60 minutes at depths ranging from 25 to 40 meters. You might encounter a variety of marine life including grouper, snapper, tuna, and more. Visibility is generally excellent, although currents may be present. Typical encounters include groups of barracuda creating spectacular displays as large amberjacks move through them.
