This dive site is located on Gili Trawangan, Indonesia. It offers a unique diving experience with progressively deeper canyons running parallel to the eastern shore of the island. The seabed transitions from a flat sandy bottom to these impressive canyons, creating diverse habitats and abundant marine life. This area is particularly popular due to its variety of species and stunning underwater scenery.
The site’s maximum depth reaches 30 meters. Reef sharks are commonly seen navigating the canyons, while turtles can be spotted in shallower areas. During the full moon, large schools of humphead parrotfish congregate within these canyons, making it a prime location for observing this magnificent fish species. A notable feature is the Glenn Nusa wreck, deliberately sunk in February 2016 and currently resting upright on the seabed. Currents can be strong, especially during new and full moons.
Dive conditions are suitable for all levels of experience. The site offers a captivating dive with opportunities to encounter diverse marine life and explore underwater canyons.
