This dive site is located in the Amuk Bay area, adjacent to Mimpang and represents a series of rock formations. It’s known for its varied topography, including steep walls and a dramatic canyon referred to as ‘The Canyon’. Diving here requires experience due to consistently strong currents and potentially unpredictable conditions. The site offers a remarkable opportunity to encounter diverse marine life, such as moray eels, rays, and various pelagic species.
The east side features a substantial wall that descends from approximately 14 meters to around 40 meters. Divers can explore reef slopes leading either left or right, discovering schools of sweetlips in numerous varieties, butterflyfish, scorpionfish, parrotfish, and angelfish. Keep an eye out for turtles, barracuda, or tuna as well.
The southwest end boasts ‘The Canyon,’ a breathtaking natural feature with black stone walls providing a stunning backdrop to the abundant marine life including Bumphead parrotfish, batfish, unicornfish, and occasionally sharks, Mola-Mola, and tuna. Visibility can vary depending on current conditions.
