This dive site, Vromoneri, is a beautiful and sheltered bay located on the Ionian coast. The bay offers protection from the strong south winds that frequently affect the area. Diving begins in a shallow sandy bottom before transitioning to a substantial rocky reef just outside the bay's entrance. This reef supports a diverse array of marine life including octopuses, moray eels, lionfish, and small groupers.
