This dive site is San Antonio Cave, located in Greece. It's a boat dive starting with a descent to 8 meters, following a route to a cave entrance at 17 meters. Cave penetration is limited to 10 meters and requires a certified instructor or guide. The dive itself is relatively straightforward, making it accessible to a range of experience levels.
The marine life is a highlight, featuring a variety of species including octopus, morays, cuttlefish, sponges, soft and hard corals, scorpionfish, jackfish, and sea turtles. The cave itself may offer additional unique sightings.
The best time to visit is likely during the warmer months (May-October) when water temperatures are pleasant and visibility is generally better. Divers should always check local conditions and heed the advice of their guide, particularly regarding currents and cave penetration safety. This dive is not recommended for freediving due to the cave penetration.
