This dive site is located on the west side of the Kassandra peninsula, at the end of Thermaikos Bay. It’s an ancient port with a fascinating history. The seabed features a mix of sand and beautiful rock formations that create a distinct ‘furrow,’ visible as you descend deeper – this area is known locally as Avlaki, meaning ‘furrow’. The water is exceptionally clear, offering excellent visibility. You can expect to find a diverse range of marine life here. It’s generally quieter than other dive locations, making for a peaceful experience, though the possibility of encountering dolphins adds an exciting element to your dive. The precipices create a stunning underwater landscape.
