This dive site, Möhne at Delecker Brücke, is a freshwater reservoir transformed from an old quarry. Divers can navigate by exploring the unique submerged features, including the robust foundations of the Delecker bridge, a small dinghy, and a large stable floating platform situated at approximately 6 meters. Further back, on the slope, three significant oak trees can be found, though the maximum dive depth at the primary site is 13 meters.
The marine environment, though sparsely vegetated, supports a variety of freshwater species. Divers can expect to encounter large pike and perch, crayfish, catfish, and rudd. Intriguing smaller life includes freshwater jellyfish, freshwater sponges, and mussels. At night, eels are frequently observed.
The best time to visit for unique sightings is during night dives when eels are active. This site is particularly suitable for beginner divers due to its shallow maximum depth and clear points of interest, offering excellent opportunities for both scuba and freediving exploration of its unique underwater landscape and macro life.
