This dive site is named after filmmaker and Skin Diver editor Jack McKenney, a favorite location of his—a must-do East End spot and a cherished logbook entry. Beneath the surface, you’ll find a sandy arena with rocky slopes, creating an underwater stadium where Caribbean Reef Sharks frequently appear as the main attraction. These classic predators, known for their sharp teeth, streamlined bodies, and sleek fins, are a highlight of this site. A 20-foot underwater buoy monitors shark activity for conservation efforts; ask your dive team to show you how to identify each shark’s unique personality. Beyond the sharks, a canyon at the western sandy edge descends into the wall. The tunnel within branches twice before leading to two chimneys dropping through the canyon floor, offering an exciting opportunity to explore deeper waters.
