About this dive site

This dive site, Millers Beach on Westhawk Lake, is a popular freshwater destination for scuba training located just outside of Winnipeg, Canada. The lake is renowned for its spectacular underwater rock topography and amazing rock walls, making it an excellent site for learning and practicing diving skills. With a maximum depth of 10 meters and an average of 5 meters, it offers accessible conditions for divers of all experience levels to explore its unique geological features.

While not known for abundant marine life, the site does host some freshwater fish species. Divers may occasionally encounter bass, perch, and trout swimming amongst the rock formations. The primary attraction, however, remains the impressive underwater landscape rather than diverse aquatic fauna or flora.
