This dive site, located near Dunas, offers a shallow wall with a maximum depth of 12 meters. It's particularly noteworthy for its seasonal turtle activity. From June through December, loggerhead turtles migrate from the Atlantic Ocean, traveling to Cape Verde to reproduce and lay their eggs along the shoreline directly in front of the dive site. This creates a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
The visibility at Dunas is generally good, allowing divers to appreciate the underwater landscape. The relatively shallow depth makes it suitable for divers of various experience levels.
