This dive site is located on Klein Bonaire, an uninhabited island just a short 15-minute boat ride from the main island of Bonaire. No Name Beach is primarily known for its shallow reef, which, despite some areas of damage, offers an accessible and pleasant experience for divers and snorkelers. Divers typically navigate parallel to the shore, exploring the reef flat and the gentle drop-off that reaches a maximum depth of 6 meters.
The site boasts a good variety and quantity of reef fish, which can be observed across the reef. Common sightings include various species of parrotfish, angelfish, wrasse, and possibly juvenile barracuda. While the shallow reef flat shows signs of damage, the deeper sections towards the drop-off might reveal healthier hard and soft corals, along with other macro life typical of Caribbean reefs. Turtles are also commonly sighted in the waters around Klein Bonaire.
No Name Beach is suitable year-round, with the calm conditions of Bonaire generally prevailing. It is particularly ideal for beginner divers due to its shallow depths and mild currents. Snorkelers will find it excellent, being one of Bonaire's busiest snorkeling locations, offering abundant fish life close to the surface. Freedivers will also appreciate the clear, shallow waters, perfect for extended breath-hold dives and close observation of marine life.
