This dive site is located on the southern coast of Klein Bonaire, a small island off the coast of Curaçao. The area features a rocky shoreline with no sandy beach. A unique feature is a buoy anchored at 30 feet along the edge of a dramatic drop-off. At this anchor point sits a plaque commemorating Captain Don, recognizing his dedication to preserving Bonaire’s underwater environment; it was installed in 1987 and named the dive site after him. The reef wall descends in a series of steps, gradually becoming less steep as depth increases. Vertical channels cut through these steps, leading to a sandy floor approximately 151 feet deep. Divers may encounter Black durgons and blue and brown baslets swimming along the drop-off. This location offers an interesting dive with varied topography and marine life.
