This dive site is a historic shipwreck located off the coast of Aruba. The vessel, originally carrying cement from Costa Rica in 1984, was abandoned after engine troubles and subsequently placed under embargo due to unpaid harbor fees. After the embargo was lifted, the ship was intentionally sunk on September 4th, 1988, for diving purposes. The stern of the wreck sits at approximately 60 feet (18.3 meters), while the propeller is located around 90 feet (27.4 meters). Divers should be aware that currents in this area can be quite strong. Despite these challenges, the site offers a beautiful and colorful reef environment. The wreck itself provides a unique opportunity to explore a submerged vessel with diverse marine life.
