This dive site is a unique opportunity to explore The Antilla, the third largest shipwreck in the Caribbean. This vessel was intentionally sunk by her captain at the beginning of World War II on May 10th, 1940. Constructed in 1939 and sinking in 1940, it remains remarkably well-preserved, offering a glimpse into a sophisticated piece of machinery from that era – specifically an electromotor propulsion system instead of a steam turbine. The Antilla stretches over 350 feet in length and reaches a maximum depth of approximately 55 feet. It provides an exciting dive experience for experienced divers.
